The challenge of the portrait in the work of Manuel Sosa.

Reflection on the chromatic distortions in the pictorial portraits made by the Mexican artist Manuel Sosa. It is proposed that the existence of a tension between the identification of the portrayed subject with the visual alteration of his or her face, having as a counterpoint the context of the digital manipulation of the images.
