Interface

The specialized libraries concentrate information from specific areas of knowledge. The cover shows the reading room of the library of the “Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine” in Paris. This institution specialises in the education, research and diffusion of French architecture and its library brings together both contemporary and historical materials. This combination is reflected in the very architecture of its room, which reproduces the medieval frescoes of the Abbey of Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe.

In the cover design we envisioned a possible technological interface that would lead to a new time link in the way our society relates to information.
